Gymnastics Classes

Our recreational gymnastics program offers a fun and engaging experience for athletes from 6 months to 60 years old! Whether you or your child is just starting their gymnastics journey or looking to refine skills, we have a class for every age and ability. Our highly qualified coaches focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence, all while fostering a love for movement. Check out our classes below to find the perfect fit!

First Steps

Crawling – 24 Months

​

Let your little one explore what their body can do in a safe & engaging environment. This is a child led adventure, but a certified gymnastics coach will be on the floor at all times to promote safety, learning, and FUN!

​

Each child must be accompanied by a designated parent/guardian in the gym. Children must be within arms reach at all times during class.

Early Explorers

2 Year Olds

​

This class is geared toward channelling your child's energy in fun-filled ways with an entertaining mix of basic gymnastics, circuits, and games. We will focus on encouraging socialization while building coordination & fundamental movement skills.

​

Each child must be accompanied by a designated parent/guardian in the gym.

Independent Travellers

3 Year Olds

​

Support your child's growth & development with their first taste of independence. This class is designed for children ready to participate independently. The focus is on developing school readiness tasks like turn-taking, listening & following directions while being introduced to basic gymnastics skills.

Senior Voyagers

4 – 5 Year Olds

​

In this class we will build on school readiness tasks like turn-taking, listening & following directions while being introduced to basic gymnastics skills.

Acro Beginner

6 – 9 Year Olds

​

We will focus on the fundamentals of gymnastics tumbling and will progress through basic skill development (rolls, handstands, cartwheels, leaps, jumps, and pirouettes). Gymnasts will also have the opportunity to practice skills on the balance beam and single bar.

The coach plans for the unique needs of students in each class to accommodate a variety of ability levels.

Practicing Gymnastics

Acro Advanced

7+ Year Olds

​

Build on the fundamentals learned in Acro Intermediate. Gymnasts will build confidence and enhance skill level while working on form and technique. Gymnasts will be introduced to slats (backhand spring, front tucks) and have the opportunity to practice skills on the balance beam and single bar.

Boys Ninja

6+ Year Olds

​

This is our entry level NINJA class. This fun, focused hour of awesomeness covers the basics of flipping, swinging, running, and rolling. In each class kids will conquer fun challenges and even attempt "THE GAME". Target skills include safety rolls & falls, training handstands & cartwheels, basic bar hangs & swings, obstacle course & agility training)!

Girls Acro

10+ Year Olds

​

A perfect fit for mature girls who want to learn new skills or improve existing ones. Girls will soar to new heights and have a blast developing their strength & flexibility, working at their own pace to develop skills that suit their interests and abilities. A great way to stay active, make new friends, & have fun with gymnastics in a more casual setting.

Dance Class

Adults Gymnastics

18+

A perfect fit for any adult who want to learn new skills or improve existing ones. Soar to new heights and have a blast developing strength & flexibility, working at your own pace to develop skills that suit your interests and abilities. A great way to stay active, exercise with friends, & have fun with gymnastics in a casual setting.

Class Instructions

Arrival

  • Please try to arrive 5 minutes early for class, so your child doesn't feel rushed.

  • Have your child wait with you in the lobby until the coach calls them into the gym.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle for your child, and please make sure it is clearly labelled with their name.

Clothing

  • Leotard or fitted shorts & t-shirt (no baggy clothing, no clothing with zipper/buttons, & no skirts/tutu's)​

  • Bare feet​

  • Must have long hair tied back​

  • NO jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, dangly/hoop earrings) *unless the child wears a medical alert*
