Sept. 1, 2024, began a new gymnastics year with Gymnastics Nova Scotia. Therefore, ALL new members this session must re-register and pay their yearly insurance fee ($44).

Member Registration
No registration is considered final until you receive a confirmation email and full payment has been received.
Payment
Session fees can be paid:

In-person with cash or by cheque (made out to Cartwheel Academy Inc.)

Online by e-transfer to cartwheelacademy7@gmail.com

Payment is due at the time of registration in order to secure your spot.
Refunds
Refunds need to be requested by email.
Annual insurance fees to Gymnastics Nova Scotia are non-refundable.
A 2-week cancellation policy will be is in effect. If less than 2 weeks notice is given, a refund/credit will NOT be given.
Class Cancellations
Cartwheel Academy does not follow the school board(s) with regard to cancelling classes due to inclement weather.
Decisions to cancel classes with be made by 7:00 am for morning classes, 12:00 pm for afternoon classes and 2:00 pm for after-school classes.
Cancellation messages will be posted on our Facebook page, and a group text will be sent to parents.
The first class cancelled due to weather will not be made up. Any group that misses two or more classes will have make-up class(es) added to the end of their session (dates/times could vary).
Insurance
Every gymnast is required to pay an annual membership fee of $44 as part of the insurance program with Gymnastics Nova Scotia.
Membership is valid from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.
Insurance fees are non-refundable.

Cartwheel Academy is a member of Sport Nova Scotia and Gymnastics Nova Scotia (GNS).
Funding
Cartwheel Academy is a member of Kid Sport. You can apply for funding directly from their website: www.kidsportcanada.ca
Funds can be used for registration fees and equipment up to $500 per year, per child.
Cartwheel Academy is a member of Jumpstart. You can apply for funding directly from their website: www.jumpstartgrants.smartsimple.ca
Funding is for programs that involve a sport or physical activity and programs should be a minimum of five weeks in duration and include at least one session per week.
