A New Year, A Season of Change, and Moving Forward Together

As we head into a new year, I wanted to take a moment to share an update with our Cartwheel Academy families and community.

2026 brings a season of change for me personally and professionally, and I believe in communicating openly and honestly with the families who have supported this space so deeply.

Why the Building Is for Sale

After a lot of reflection, I've made the decision to list the Cartwheel Academy building for sale. This choice comes primarily from ongoing health challenges that have made it impossible for me to continue operating the gym at the pace and capacity I once did.

This was not an easy decision. Cartwheel Academy has been built with heart, intention, and community from the very beginning, and this space holds many meaningful memories for families, athletes, and for me as a coach. At the same time, listening to my body and prioritizing long-term health has become essential.

Why Classes Are Still Running This Winter

Although the building is listed, Cartwheel Academy is still operating, just on a reduced winter schedule.

Until the building sells, I still need to cover the ongoing costs that come with owning and maintaining it. Coaching one evening per week this winter allows me to do that in a way that is sustainable, while still offering quality programming and time in the gym with your kids.

This winter session is very intentional. It's designed to:

• Keep things manageable for my health

• Maintain consistency for families who wish to continue

• Allow me to stay connected to the gym and the athletes I love coaching

Classes will continue to be well-planned, structured, and thoughtfully coached - just on a smaller scale.

As we step into a new year, I want to say thank you.

Thank you for your understanding, your flexibility, and your continued support during this period of transition. Whether your family is joining us this winter or cheering us on from afar, I am deeply grateful for the role you've played in making Cartwheel Academy what it is.

I am truly looking forward to spending time back in the gym this winter - teaching, moving, and reconnecting with our gymnasts in a way that feels positive and sustainable.
